For the best scan results, it is important to drink 1 litre of water 60 minutes before the scan if under 20 weeks.
Our Gender View scans focus on visualising your baby’s gender. The Luxury Gender View scan also includes heartbeat bear and Gender Reveal canon.
You can bring up to 6 guests with you of any age for your scan. You may wish to check on baby before inviting guests into the scan room – we are very happy to accommodate this! We know it can be a very anxious time, if you would like the screen off until our qualified sonographer has checked on baby, please let us know.
Womb With a View do not replace your primary carer in any way. Any abnormalities are to be followed up with your primary carer. In most cases, we can refer to your primary carer with your consent.
£15 surcharge for multiple pregnancies includes additional 5 mins scan time and additional foetal measurements on the report.
£50 surcharge for multiple pregnancies includes additional 5 mins scan time and additional foetal measurements on the report plus an extra heartbeat bear and cannon.
Please note: We only scan over 16s; however, children of all ages are welcome to attend as guests.
If you are aged 16 or 17, it is our best practice policy to only offer scan services in your pregnancy from 9 weeks of gestation. You must bring official identification, such as a passport, birth certificate, or driver’s licence, and an adult parent or legal guardian with you for the scan. No internal scan will be provided.
We have both male and female experienced sonographers. If you have a preference, please call us before you make a booking so we can accommodate your request.
