Recommended gestation for twins – 24-26 weeks. (£30 surcharge applies)
Recommended gestation with anterior placenta (single pregnancy) – 26-28 weeks.
Recommended gestation with posterior placenta (single pregnancy) – 27-32 weeks.
After 32 weeks a rescan may not be provided.

Our 4D View scans focus on seeing your baby’s features in amazing 4D detail. The Luxury 4D view scan has extra time, extra prints, a full scan video and a hyper realistic 8K image included.

For the best scan results, please stay hydrated in the 24 hours leading up to your scan.

You can bring up to 6 guests with you for your scan. You may wish to check on baby before inviting guests into the scan room – we are very happy to accommodate this! We know it can be a very anxious time, if you would like the screen off until our qualified sonographer has checked on baby, please let us know.

Womb With a View do not replace your primary carer in any way. Any abnormalities are to be followed up with your primary carer. In most cases, we can refer to your primary carer with your consent.

Please note: We only scan over 16s; however, children of all ages are welcome to attend as guests.

If you are aged 16 or 17, it is our best practice policy to only offer scan services in your pregnancy from 9 weeks of gestation. You must bring official identification, such as a passport, birth certificate, or driver’s licence, and an adult parent or legal guardian with you for the scan. No internal scan will be provided.

We have both male and female experienced sonographers. If you have a preference, please call us before you make a booking so we can accommodate your request.

The ladies were so lovely and even when baby was not cooperating, kept trying and managed to get the most beautiful photos of our baby. So special that we were able to bring baby's big brother along too as he's been desperate to meet his little brother!

They were absolutely brilliant both times, especially the lady who did our gender scan who was so thorough and explained absolutely everything we could have wanted to know. What types of scans do you offer?

Yes, all of our scans are completely safe. They are performed by qualified sonographers using advanced ultrasound technology.

Is payment required in advance?

We usually take a deposit at the time of booking to secure your appointment, with the balance payable on the day of your scan.

Do you offer scan packages?

Yes, we offer bundle packages if you’d like multiple scans across your pregnancy, providing better value than booking individually.

How can I book an appointment?

You can easily book online through our website or call our reception team to secure a slot.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred time, especially for weekend or evening appointments.

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
